Yes. M & S Water provides a twenty year guarantee on all supply pipe relays. Should anything such as leaks occur during this period, M & S will return, repair the damage and then backfill and reinstate any excavations, closely matching the existing surfaces. Free of Charge.
Where possible, we use trenchless technology. This means that there are only isolated excavations, all of which are backfilled and reinstated to a previous condition whenever able. You can see our ‘Moling’ illustration for details.
Yes. Using ducts we can also install gas pipes, electrical cables and fibre optics.
Once repairs and work is completed, our team will backfill any holes and excavations and then clean the worksite. M & S engineers will leave a pack at your property with explanations and guidance on the process.
It is regular practice that we leave excavations between 7 and 10 days in order to allow the ground to settle. This ensures excavations do not sink once we have reinstated them. A team of M & S specialist engineers will return after this period to restore excavations, closely matching the existing surfaces. Any remaining waste will also be cleared by us.
Providing there are no access issues with the property, it is common practice for our team to return without making an appointment. However, should you wish to be present, this can easily be arranged.

No. Since incorporation, M & S have grown into a successful business that provides specialist services to a large portfolio of customers. These range from domestic householders to water authorities; we provide expertise in a myriad of fields including water, plumbing, drainage, directional drilling, fusion welding, leak detection and civil engineering, and RPZ valve testing.
M & S recommends replacing your supply pipe in conjunction with having new building work such as extensions and driveways. We have received numerous calls from distressed householders who have just had a new drive laid and shortly afterwards have discovered a leak. This is usually due to the vibrating machinery used when laying the new drive. Many people also build extensions over the existing supply pipe, which means that when a leak is discovered the pipe work then has to be diverted.
